The mountain behind me is Illimani and is seen from La Paz, Bolivia. It stands about 6,438 metres (21,122 ft) tall. The name means "golden eagle". I guess there are eagles there (but not really). If you feel like getting there its address is 16°39′14″S, 67°47′05″W.
I was in Bolivia and Peru for 2 weeks shooting for a documentary for the International Vice Presidents Office at Brigham Young University. It was a great to be back down south. It has been 8 years since I have lived in Peru.
